Hunting for Critters

Slow update intervals lately, which is appropriate as most progress indicators have slowed down a bit lately. I’ve been mostly hunting down a variety of bugs… Bughunting is honestly going quite a bit slower than I hoped for.

I added packet allocation tracking to help with memory-related bugs, and its’ found me a whole host of issues to fix. The memory issues being fixed aren’t just leaks but also cases where packets are being kept around unnecessarily long; not leaked, but just not temporally optimal allocation. This presents a problem when building high res worlds.
I’ve also written the new website and upgrade tour, the latter of which will be making an appearance soon. That at least will signal the start of public-knowledge of WM 2.0!
