Utility Macros
Thermal weathering based ridge selector highlights rocky areas.
This macro uses thermal weathering and a difference combiner to find the locations of steep slopes and rocky areas. It then outputs a mask of the ridges and a heightfield of the terrain after thermal weathering (if you want it).
It is ridiculously simple, and I'm surprised I haven't thought of this before.
Depending on the parameters, this may also be an alternative peak selector.
Recommended Use:
Use selection output and subtract partially from base terrain.
Update (5/17/16):
Added Optional Mask Input
